The Pjusken is MIA
The old grumpy cat Pjusken has gone missing...which isnt exactly a new thing, she tends to womble off quite regularly and return a few days later to demand dinner and cuddles...Its the first time shes done it in Spain though, so its a bit worrying. :
Spent the day touring the mountain looking for her...wandering up and down hills (and now im fuckered lol).
Anyways...hope she returns soon.
Hmmm. My search did take me on a bit of an exploration that unveiled some excellent looking restaurants and a british supermarket just up the road (along with a british primary school and a very posh looking tennisclub)...anyways, this is gonna solve much of the whining, moaning and crying i´d foreseen as this wonderful little supermarket sells Kjærgården (or Lurpak Spreadable as they call it here). Major world crisis avoided lol
Weather is a bit better too...sunny and nice all day, but still a bit too cold to buffoon about half naked as i´ve become used to.
The rain yesterday ruined my spider experiment though. I had two giant tarantula spiders, one which came to say hello in the house and one which drowned in the pool - gave them both to my friends the ants...and they´d managed to move them about half a metre and partly dissect them when they themselves had to flee the floods from above....Oh its good to have a hobby :)

Hu Hey It Rains in Spain
Hu Hey It rains in Spain...and it didnt even fall on the plains. Well. It might have - but it also fell on the mountain, several cms of it in a mad thunderstorm last night that left us with no electricity for about 2hours (help help, no interwebs...the google was in hiding and we were in panic obviously). :
Anyways...done the surroundings a world of good with some liquids from the sky. However, the spaniards had obviously never considered the concept of rain when they ventured into building a civilisation. Basically, they completely ignored any form of drains on the roads, which results in rivers running wild and deep in the streets...much to my amusement whilst driving about but equally a perfect design for aquaplanning, so i would probably be sligthly cranky if id actually been in a rush to go anywhere but sailing....
Ah well, were on top of the mountain - so we are sitting uphere laughing at the poor rich bloke at the bottom with his fancy villa thats now a sunken version of Noahs ark.
Enough with the rambling, heading into Second Life to dance around to the tunes of www.musicworldradio.com - currently playing Strawberry Slaughterhouse...Marvellous :)

Obama crosses the line wednesday
Finally it looks like we´re gonna have a decision in the dogfight Obama vs Clinton.... :
The DNC board ruled on Michigan and Florida. Obama wasnt on the ballot in Michigan and didnt campaign there (actually Clinton was the only one) - she got 60 percent of the vote, 40% voted uncommitted. In Florida, the candidates had signed an agreement not to campaign, Hillary did anyway...and won the primary there obviously (she probably would in a fair game too, due to the elderly population, the hispanics etc)
Anyway...the board ruled...In michigan -> they went with the exit poll giving it to hillary 60-40...and then cutting the delegates in half - so she got 34,5, he got 29,5. In florida, they took on the result - but cut it in half. So, she made a gain, but nowhere near as big as she had hoped (she wanted all delegates seated, and 100% of the Michigan delegates) - Obama on the other hand might feel that it isnt entirely fair that shes rewarded delegates in states that wasnt really on the calendar, it kind of changes the rules reversely (for instance, he would stand a good chance of winning Michigan - but it´d require his name being on the ballot for a start :) )
Obama ok´d the decision(to get peace and unity im sure) - hillary reserved the right to appeal and take it all the way to the
But - the new magic number then is 2118 -> he is at 2,052....she is at 1,877.5. They have 86 left to split in contests and about 200 superdelegates havent endorsed...so...i think he will reach the magic number wednesday -> loosing 65-35 in puerto rico (35-20), south dakota 45-55 (7-8), montana 48-52 (7-9) -> very pessimistic on Obamas behalf but gives him 37 pledged delegates....so come tuesday he will just need about 20 superdelegates in the backhand to close it. Im sure theres 20 out of the 200 (+some of Clintons) that he´s either kept for this occation or just desperate to see it end finally.
She might still wanna fight and take the Florida/Michigan issue to the convent. But Obama reaching the magic number will realisticly close the deal - I think she will have very few superdelegates left by her side if she tries and a mediastorm the size of Katrina heading her way.
Obama crosses the line on wednesday. Now lets hope he can trash that old warmonger McCain :)

Bye Bye Hillary
Hillary grabbed a win yesterday in Indiana - of about 2%...whilst Obama snapped up North Carolina by 14%. Effectively that should be the end of it if Hillary is at all interested in a democratic victory in the fall. :
Its not just that she scraped home a small win whilst Obama won decisively. Her problem is that Indiana is by any standards a firewall state for her with strongly favorable demographics - she shouldve pulled a big one there and she shouldve at least come close to Obama in North Carolina.
Whats worse for her...it is now beyond the realms of possibilities that even landslide victories in all the remaining primaries would give her a lead (which is extremely unlikely too - she will win big in Kentucky and a couple of other places, but Obama has a couple of probable wins coming too).
Furthermore, she has been banging on about the popular vote being somehow and suddenly important. Which contradicts her campaign manager who said in january that the popular vote didnt matter "this is a game about delegates folks". But that aside, if it is about the popular vote - Obama has been ahead in the popular vote for month, he expanded his lead by no less than 150.000 votes yesterday...and its basically impossible for her to catch him now.
There has then been talks that she will "go nuclear"...and use her popularity with party elders on the convention board to forcible seat delegates from Florida and Michigan. Now, she was the only one campaigning in Florida and the only democrat on the ballot in Michigan - it would basically have no legitimacy. Furthermore, it wouldnt be enough to give her a lead in either the popular vote or delegates.
Clinton has hinted that this isnt a problem, as she believes she can sway enough pledged Obama delegates to vote against the mandate given to them by voters....now, even if that was so, even if the superdelegates didnt intervene to stop the madness...how does she think that will play in the media, with voters who suddenly had their "vote stolen" ? Its nothing short of a "mutual destruction" scheme that might indeed stop Obama becoming president...but it sure as hell stops her too. The only one smiling would be McCain.
Luckily, its unlikely to come to that. After the blows she took in NC and Indiana shes almost certainly gonna face heaps of superdelegates swinging towards Obama - the less significant undecided ones will start jumping on the Obama train in the next few days, a few superdelegates who has already endorsed her will do a "Its over. Please pull out Hillary. Were are changing our endorsement to Obama"...and its gonna be another nail in the coffin every single time, causing bad publicity, a negative campaign atmosphere, a sense round her voters of being on the losing team etc etc...Basically, it is over. Its Bye Bye Hillary.

Dr Weird on Air
Dr Weirdo alias Magick Temple is on air tonight with his mixture of absolute filth and dirt, rubbish and memories best forgotten from the history of music... :
Youll probably be exposed to obscenities like Faust, Dufus and other oddities from the rotten end of punk´n´noise...No more Scissor Sisters in between though, as it keeps getting him death threats.
Anyway - tune into Dj Temple on Music World Radio tonight between ten and midnight gmt.

Game Over Mr Magic Fingers and Lex Guiliano
Hmm well...In all modesty I used to be known as Mr Magic Fingers back in the hectic political days...it would appear that the fingers have lost their magic touch though and the spinning wheel is out of control. :
I foolishly projected that Super Tuesday would leave the democrats with a one-woman-race...and shattered remains of a failed campaign in the obama camp. Thats not exactly how the music played...
Tomorrow, Obama is most likely gonna take the overall lead with relatively big victories in mid-sized states - he is already ahead in terms of delegates won in the primaries, but when counting the superdelegates as well Billary is still edging him narrowly.
Obama seems to have made a movement out of his campaign...he is counting his donorlist in hundreds of thousands, theres queus for the caucases to vote for him and hes basically just riding a wave of succes. Putting on objective mathematical glasses Clinton still has the upperhand, she is polling well in the big delegate-rich states later on (primarily Ohio and Texas, both held in early march)
...and this is her biggest problem, she might face a lex Guiliano. He was republican frontrunner, everything was going well and he had the perfect plan...mathematically. He wasnt gonna waste time and money on pity little states - and focused on the first of big ones, Florida. It made sense, Florida more or less had more delegates to grab than all the ones before it combined, he was polling well there and had loads of staff and money to pour into the campaign as it was much more narrowly focused than any other candidates.
Trouble was..and potentially is, for Clinton. Math isnt everything (neither is miracles Mr. religious nutter). The tension and the atmosphere, the momentum, the waves of excitement, the movements...all of it matters just as much as the mathematical studies. A win in Maine can create extacy in the movement, that inspires more groundtroopers to storm out and campaign, positive spin in the media, donors flocking to be part of a succes, all of it going into another positive spin that turns a tiny triumph in an insignificant state into an unstoppable snowball that demolishes all the clever mathematical plans the opponents might have.
Thats the lex Guiliano, he lost the excitement, that made the sources of funding run out, media kept broadcasting negative stories, less campaigners and fewer donors could be bothered to contribute to a fiasco...and in the end he got his ass kicked in Florida and dropped out. The very same could happen to Clinton in the next month - her campaign has more or less openly conceeded all states before Texas/Ohio, the intention being to downplay expectations and potentially get some "surprise" victory spin out of it - but another possible outcome is that she looses a pretty good upperhand on the floor....
Anyway...in other words, I was wrong about Super Tuesday. Hillary won, but nowhere near as big as she should have done to clean the table...I hope she ends up having coffee with Guiliano to sulk about how clearcut favorites can throw it all away, but thats something different entirely.

Game Over Obama.
So...super tuesday is coming up. Voting starts in just a few hours and the media just cant stop praising the rising star and saviour Obama. I agree with the reports, he is magnificent and would be incredible as president, furthermore it is true that he is on the rise in the polls. :
But. Sadly they draw the wrong conclusions in my opinion. Nothing indicates that Obama walks away from Super Tuesday with a chance of winning the nomination. He has come close to Hillary in the national polls (48-44 to Hillary atm). He has closed in on her in places like New York, New Jersey and California...but, closing in isnt gonna be enough.
My prediction is that Obama carries his home state and a few other smaller/medium sized states, primarily the ones with a large coloured population. But, Hillary sweeps the big ones - which is gonna make all the difference when it comes to delegates. She might not quite make the cut to be safe home, but she will have a clear lead after winning the biggies such as New York, California etc, and after Super Tuesday comes quite a few states also in her favour - and she is backed by a vast majority of superdelegates. Even if Hillary takes a marginal loss in California, as one poll suggests she might, she is still gonna accumulate a sufficient lead to be home and dry by carrying states such as New Jersey, New York, Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri and Oklahoma.
Wednesday, I will be schocked if I dont wake up to a presidential race between Hillary and McCain.
Is Obama gonna be on the ticket as vicepresident with Hillary then? No. Obviously not. Obama has his support in the heartland of traditional democratic voters - students, coloured, intellectuals...groups that will vote for whatever democrat is running, just to avoid a republican. As such, Obama has nothing to offer. Hillary is gonna do what Bill did, search the south and midwest for the most conservative democrats she can find - white males exclusively, and nominate one of them.
I hope I am wrong. But I think its game over Obama.

Stolen from Shadow_Rosie...who shall of course fill this one in also. :
1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
Kind of, its not your everyday relationship, but its quite serious.
2) What was your dream growing up?
I dont really recall. Think I wanted to be a rockstar or primeminister but later figured both involved communicating with people and dropped out of the race.
3) What talent do you wish you had?
Social skills would be nice and I wish I could play some instrument
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
In a bar, beer certainly. Im not into all the fancy youngpersons drinks.
5) Favorite vegetable?
I reckon the EU should ban them all to fight off the vegetarian terrorist plaque.
6) What was the last book you read?
A biography about Bruce Springsteen...at the moment Im doing a very jolly thing about the propaganda strategies of the nazi party in the thirties.
7) What zodiac sign are you?
Hmmm. In danish its scales...dont recall the name for it in english.
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
Nothing to explain, aint got them.
9) Worst Habit?
Oh geez theres loads...I smoke, sleep incredibly odd and uneven hours, im vindictive and manipulate and all sorts like that.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
What? Thats completely unrealistic. I would section myself as Id obviously be hallucinating.
But well...if you stood outthere in the rain, cold and lonely, freezing and afraid of the dark...i´d of course speed up the sportscar and shoot past.
11) What is your favorite sport?
Football closely followed by cycling.
12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
I would take the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone...amusing myself by making you scream loud enough to attract attention from whoever does elevator thingies...
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
Many bad things have happened in my horrible life...hmmm...no, I dont really have that many regrets and I havent been haunted by natural disasters....if you dont count the welsh moving into my house a natural disaster that is.
15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
16) Do you have any pets?
Countless...at the moment somewhere around 4 cats, Pjusken, her boyfriend, her daughter Freja and Kali.
17) What if i showed up at your house unexpectedly?
Generally not big on this dropping by thing...specially during naps. But if you sneak in, make coffee and light the fire, filled me a bowl of haribo and prepared a good selection of chocolate and marcipanbars...I would probably forgive the intrusion eventually.
18) What was your first impression of me? (hmmm...careful!)
You seemed a bit shy - and very oddly cuddly...shriek. Im terrible with meeting new people, so it kind of overpowers the ability to actually form a decent first impression of others. It all got much less akward very quickly though.
19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?
I like them and I love the scary effect they have on others...thats why i have several clown outfits bookmarked at a theathre shop.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
I really should add 10kgs of muscles...
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
Both. I dont mind doing the crime as long as you do the time...no anyway, probably crime partner in the end.
22) What color eyes do you have?
Brown. Comes with the Aryan race...uhm...or...
23) Ever been arrested?
Yes. For flashing my headlights at someone to warn them about a police speed-razzia - the police in sweden considers that seriously unfair interference...well, actually I managed to babble enough danish at them to be let off the hook - and Im afraid i´ve been law abiding or least too lucky to be caught apart from that.
24) Bottle or can soda?
Bottle. Cans dont burn, plastic does. We should all lend a hand to global warming, I´ve had enough of this bloody rain.
25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it?
Im in Denmark, i´d give it to the tax office....sigh.
27) What's your favorite place to hang at?
The lounge in front of House or other magnificent contributions to world history.
28) Do you believe in ghosts?
29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
I rarely have any...im a workaholic...but see Q27.
30) Do you swear a lot?
Not really, very well mannered me.
31) Biggest pet peeve?
32) In one word, how would you describe yourself?
33) Do you believe/appreciate romance?
Not really. Some types of affection I can kind of relate to and appreciate - and people for instance doing unexpected nice things ...but as such I consider flying on pink skies with the one and only kind of a pathetic construction that fits the purpose of giving a reason that mustve obviously been lost along the way...or maybe lovebirds are just wired differently.
35) Do you believe in God?
No. There is this and that is it.
Yet again, constructing fantasy about happy endings just to be able to cope with / or even worse control and suppress the process strikes me as idiotic.
36) Will you repost this so I can fill it out and do the same for you?

Mr Magick Temple showed me this wonderfull little quizz - : http://www.kieskompas-usa.nl/language/en/
...and apparently i´d vote Obama. Although more rightwing economically than any democrat (and more leftwing than any republican) - the progressiveness beats them all).
Everybody knows that the dice is loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows that the war is over
Everydody knows the good guys lost
...and as such, anyone actually trying to vote Obama in say....hmmm....Texas....will probably be shot on the spot for terrorism anyway. Not that I actually would, even though he carried Iowa i´d be amazed if he could ever enter the white house - and theres a desperate need to get someone with a brain into that oval office, so i´d go for Edwards (even though according to the test hes a bit of an economic communist).

Ah...that was christmas done with uphere in the cold swedish winter. :
We had plenty of delicious food and a cosy evening all round. I got some very nice prezzies...a shirt and a sweater, a biography on The Boss, excellent stuff...and after the celebrations we got thoroughly pissed.
I hate brandy but somehow managed to share a bottle of it...the folks went to bed at 6am - me and my brother kept drinking, shouting and listening to music till 11 this morning...
Hellish hangover today...when i finally got up at 5...and back to bed for a couple of hours at 7....ouch ouch ouch...but at least it passes time quickly hahaha I do miss the farming folks, would be hyggelig to try a christmas there - but obviously thats a bit difficult...on the upside we´re plotting a christmas celebration part2 once im back on danish soil. Thatll be groovy :) (More prezzies, more more more)
Still havent met the bears or wolves, but I suspect theyre lurking outthere in the dark somewhere...
In other news - the swedish government has put a 30% tax on housesale profits (without any type of deductions if you loose money on the sale)...and thats on top of a tax thats higher than the outragious danish one...pure despicable nonsense in my opinion.
And finally a recipe: Find a mouldy old cheese (cheese never goes out of date, according to this hazardous theory). Mix the cheese with a load of brandy, enough to soak it completely - and mix the 2 carefully. Leave it to soak for 48hours. And voila, you have the smelliest and strongest cheese ever seen...and yeah, ive just seen them eat that shit...yikes lol
Well well...more merry xmas wishes to ya all...hope to see you all soon :)

Its about that time isnt it...Merry XMas to all and everyone, hope you have a wonderfull time... :
Im flying out of the country in a coupe of hours (no it aint a gangsta escape) - just visiting family for christmas :) But well, thats scary enough. Its somewhere between minus 15 and minus 20 upthere, 2 of the neighbours has had their dogs killed by wolves and a few kilometres into the wood theres a brown bear hibernating (hopefully). Help - and I need to smoke outside - Help.
Last year I almost got arrested for flashing the headlights...but avoid further criminal investigations against me, I´ve chosen to fly upthere this year (and well, it saves me from driving 600km through the wilderness).
This time though I am trying to bring 2 bottles of booze...and Sweden has a state monopoly on booze (and some weird quota system I never understood)...so I will probably be spending christmas with the ass upwards among serialkillers, terrorists and people who likes a brandy after dinner.
I suspect there will be plenty of roadkill to munch and much fun trying to keep away rampaging wildlife and swedish aboriginals/policeofficers. Ah well, ah well...The land of the forbidden here I come - full of happy happy joy joy (and weed...uhm no, forbidden...)
Oh well, it has the potential to be cozy ...and I truly hope you all have a superbly hyggelig jul, with loads of wonderfull food to munch and prezzies galore :) Merry Christmas !!

So...I got very fed up with the interwebs today after buffooning about for a few hours. As a consequense I decided to go do some manual labour round the farm. I started out gathering black sacks and heading for remains of the illegal rubbish fire from the other day - and managed to clear the worst of it while smearing myself beyond belief in all sorts of lovely smelling remains. I felt welsh for a while. :
Thus encouraged by the many wonders of dirt I headed on the garage and started clearing it out. Theres no end to the odd things stored inthere, and within an hour or so I had a huge pile of empty beer bottles, another pile of rubbish for the trashyard and a trailer full of stuff to be burned. In the proces I located heaps of old leather thingies for horses, microwaves, harpoons and heaps of unindentifiable objects of an unknown nature. Quite a little adventure :)
Sadly, in the proces I forgot to take the poor old Volvo to the mechanic. It blew a tire yesterday and Nick had to rescue it (and Mr. Temple) - and on top of that it needs the brakes fixed, a new exhaust and potentially some rust done. So it might not make it past its next mot the poor old workhorse...
Anyway...trying to catch a nap before swallowing some Heroes and/or Journeyman tonight. My preference is beyond doubt Journeyman - quite an interesting little series that one, while waiting for 4400, Jericho, Lost and Dexter. Who serioholic ?? :)

Grrr...Crystel is trying to bully everyone into going bowling tonight....no way jose...staying home to watch football :) I need the danish team to cheer me up. :
Specially after the Sweden match fiasco as well...where we heroically came back to 3-3, but then a danish player punched a swede in the stomach and got sent off which inspired a big fat drunken danish fan living in sweden to run on the pitch and punch the referee. The referee got anal about it and called off the match like a wuss and we were deemed losers. And the UEFA put a ban on us playing within 250km of Copenhagen - until someone pointed out to them that given the size of our country that only left us tiny little stadiums in the rural outskirts of Western Jutland...To make matters worse, UEFA then turned around and said "Oh Bless. We had no idea your country was so small. Of course you can play in Aarhus". !¤#"%%#/!"%¤"/"&%( WE ARE AN EMPIRE, Proud and Vicious Vikings. But no. Aarhus is was, we would have much rather been downthrodden martyrs playing in front of 200 indifferent fishermen in a village near nowhere.
Anyway, the fan got sued for damages by the football association and the Copenhagen stadium, as well as having his face on every front page - that evening made him known by every kid in the country as "The Idiot" - and cost him 10million kroner (about 2million dollars). He probably shouldve stayed in with a couple of high class whore...but then, thats forbidden in Sweden of course, so he wouldve probably been off to Guantanamo by now then...
Anyway. That all meant we had to beat Spain on saturday - but it came to a depressing defeat....Yet again. Last time they cost us a place in world cup by having one guy stamping violently on Peter Schmeichel while another scored in the empty goal. Bastards. Im not bitter or anything but I think we should consider redirecting our military polar submarine from the heat of the Gulf War to take out Madrid. After that we might consider burning down the land of the forbidden up north.
So...as you can all see, we desperately need to quit the bowling business and beat up Latvia badly to win back some self esteem :)
